Dungeons & Dragons
Thel came to Phandalin of his own accord and claimed an abandoned house there, not to mine for gold, but to cut wood. He eventually cut enough wood to build his own house, which he did. It is one of the only buildings in Phandalin that appears to be newly constructed, with much of the other houses being more or less in a state of ruin. He made a living as a very skilled woodworker and made intricately carved tables and furniture, among other objects. His friendship with Gundren Rockseeker and his desire to stand up for Daran and Canem when the Redbrands accosted them publicly led to his tragic demise.
Thel on a good day.
